Sustainability and Transformation Partnerships (STPs)

STPs are being produced by every health and care system in England. They will show how local services will evolve and become sustainable, in line with the NHS’ five year vision for better health, better patient care and improved NHS efficiency. NHS Chief Nursing Officer, Jane Cummings, and NHS Director of Primary Care, Dr Arvind Madanexplain what this means in practice for STPs.

The STP for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) is one of 44 plans nationally.

The draft STP for LLR and a summary of the STP contents are now available. Our media statement is also available, and you can read more information about STPs on the NHS website or view the NHS STP video.
