Better Care Together is a partnership. We need to hear the experiences of patients, carers, the public, voluntary sector organisations and statutory bodies and understand what matters most to them to ensure that we improve services that meet local need.
To ensure that this happens we have a Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) group, which is made up of passionate and knowledgeable individuals, who work closely with the teams managing each pathway to shape future services.
The group monitors the work of workstreams and ensures that the public and patient voice is heard and reflected in lans.

The partnership is dynamic. Over time the programme changes and new pathways are created or existing volunteers leave, so we are always looking for new, enthusiastic PPI representatives.
If you would like to get involved in helping to shape health and social care in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) please fill in and submit the online involvement form. The role of PPI is not paid but expenses are reimbursed and carers may be able to claim back the cost of additional expenses to pay for other carers while they involved in work for BCT. The group is chaired by Evan Rees.
The PPI representatives are here to help to capture the public voice about. If you would like to contact a particular representative please use the contact us form and your message will be passed to them.
