Public and Patient Involvement Group

The Public and Patient Involvement Group (PPI) comprises of local individuals who come together with a common purpose.  They seek assurance that people have been involved in the conversation about how services are designed and delivered in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, and ensure that patient experiences and insights influence any changes to the healthcare. They also advise on any gaps in involvement and identify best practice and encourage its use through the programme.

Group members are aligned to the Better care together work streams and the Chair reports the work of the group and their findings to the Better care together Senior Leadership Team.
