This consultation has now closed. Thank you.

The Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG) in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and University Hospitals of Leicester wish to thank everyone who participated in the consultation and feedback their views of the proposed £450 million improvements to transform acute and maternity services at Leicester’s hospitals.

What happens next?

Everything that people have shared with us, whether at events or through completed hard copy and online questionnaire and correspondence is now being analysed and evaluated by an independent organisation called Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit.

  • Given the amount of information that people shared, the process of producing a Report of Findings take 2 -3 months.

  • The final Consultation Report of Findings will be received by the three CCG governing bodies and discussed in a public meeting in 2021 - the date of which is yet to be determined as it depends on how long it takes to analyse the data.

  • The papers for this meeting will be publicly available and the meeting date will be promoted so people have an opportunity to attend and hear the discussions. All decisions taken will also be made public after the governing board meetings.

  • The consultation documents on this website will remain available should anyone wish to review them.
